in my role as artist in residence at cleveland institute of art, i am in the metals department interacting with students and faculty on a regular basis. on wednesdays i work with department head, Kathy Buszkiewicz, in her Ceremony and Ritual Objects course.

on fridays, i become a student in Matthew Hollern’s class covering new materials and processes. because matthew is a rhino wiz, i’m hoping to learn enough about that to realize some ideas i’ve been harboring for several years.

Gretchen Goss in Enamels has kindly offered me a studio space with the enamel students so i have spot of my own.
Watch out for Matthew. He has a contagious laugh and is loads of fun. We were at Tyler at the same time.
