from the end of may until the end of july 2009, i was the guest of the jewelry metalsmithing department at kent state univeristy.
again, thanks to the generous spirit of katheen browne and her jewelry and metals program i was able to continue working and learning in an amazing environment.
june is the period of the blossom summer art program at kent state which this year featured artists arthur hash and miel parades.
even more fun for me was the fibers blossom guest artist, janet stoyal of the University of West England and her own studio, the Cloth Clinic.
her workshop, that i was able to attend with kathleen’s assistance, gave me new insight into the use of lasers for engraving.
